A proud member of the African American Catholic Church, Imani Temple #49 in Lafayette, and the owner of a local landscaping business, JDJJ brings both spiritual conviction and practical experience to the foundation’s mission of building sustainable water solutions that transform lives.

Aleisha Johnson Cook, MBA, PMP, LSSBB

Aleisha Johnson Cook is an executive and management consultant, as well as an adjunct instructor in the College of Business at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She brings expertise in organizational development, strategic planning, and project implementation, supported by an MBA with concentrations in Global Supply Chain and Marketing, along with Project Management and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certifications. Aleisha has served in leadership roles on various boards of directors and is deeply committed to advancing equity, sustainability, and community impact. She supports the Barbara Harmon Johnson Foundation with a focus on capacity building and international development.

Archbishop John W. Milton, Esq.

Archbishop John W. Milton, Esq. is a Lafayette-based spiritual and community leader, attorney, and Archbishop of the African American Catholic Congregation (AACC). He holds degrees in Business, Law, and Theology, and has served as a deacon, priest, bishop, and now Archbishop, also acting as the AACC’s Episcopal Liaison to Africa. In addition to his legal practice, he has founded and served on numerous civic and faith-based organizations promoting justice, education, and economic development. Archbishop Milton brings decades of leadership, advocacy, and service to the mission of the Barbara Harmon Johnson Foundation.

Christopher J. Williams, PHD

Christopher J. Williams, PHD is a dedicated social worker, nonprofit leader, and CEO of SUNVESTKA based in Lafayette, Louisiana. With a background shaped by personal experiences of resilience, he brings a lifelong commitment to community empowerment, education, and public service. Chris holds degrees in Business Administration, Political Science, and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Public Policy. His career spans youth mentoring, adult education, organizational growth, and advocacy for underserved communities. Known for his collaborative and grassroots approach, Chris uses his expertise in organizational development and educational leadership to inspire positive change and promote equity.

Brenda Wanjiku

Brenda Wanjiku is a Project Specialist with Sunvestka, based in Nairobi, Kenya, where she supports community development initiatives with a focus on impact and sustainability. In addition to her project work, she is a trained makeup artist and nail technician, bringing creativity and attention to detail to all she does. Brenda is passionate about empowering others and contributing to meaningful change.
