Budget & Use Of Funds

At the Barbara Harmon Johnson Foundation, we believe in transparency, accountability, and impact. Every dollar entrusted to us is an investment in clean water, community empowerment, and sustainable change.

For every $1 donated, here’s how we intend to allocate funds:

How We Use Funds

Your contributions help us:

  • Support clean water projects in underserved Kenyan communities, including borehole drilling, water access systems, and small-scale irrigation
  • Train local water committees to manage and sustain water systems
Support international internships and cross-cultural programming
  • Educate communities on water safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices
  • Build local partnerships that amplify long-term impact

Budget & Financial reporting

As a newly formed nonprofit (est. 2025), our first-year operating budget prioritizes infrastructure, field partnerships, and foundational systems to ensure long-term success. Once our 501(c)(3) status is approved, we will publish:

  • Annual operating budgets
  • Financial statements
  • Program-specific spending reports

We are committed to updating our stakeholders regularly and responsibly. Financial transparency isn’t just a value—it’s a promise.
